Are chairmen becoming more impatient with their managers this season in the premiership? This season has already seen a few sacking and countless speculation about those who still have their jobs leaving- even the boss of the current league champions job is not safe!

Do you think that chairman are becoming more impatient with managers? when is it necessary to hand a manager his P45? And more importantly, do you think the fans have a greater influence over the board than ever before?

Chairmans demand success, fans demand success. By this, managers just arent given a fair crack at the whip. Sir Alex, nearly booted out, look at the leagacy he will be leaving. More recent, Bruce under pressure when in the top 6, crazy! Robbo, sacked at WBA in the top 6, madness! Danny Wilson, under pressure at hartlepool, look at them now. Managers need to be given time, it does not help chopping and changing. Even if it means a lean spell before 'success'.

Obviosuly, if your names Gary Waddock and your manager of QPR - you dont deserve time!

This happens once every few years. It's different than it was 30 years but not different than it was 10 years ago. Maybe Chairmen just know the Manager isn't going to do the job after 6 months and there wouldn't be any point in prolonging the agony? Fans have less influence. Money Money Money is the only influence for most chairmen.
